Dejo disponibles en esta ocasión los enlaces a la Banda Sonora Original de la Película “The Tango Lesson” (Sally Potter, 1997). Este álbum musical reúne obras de diversos autores; desde las de la propia Sally Potter en colaboración con Fred Firth (composiciones propias de una banda sonora de película ‘tradicional’ con ciertos toques New Age) y Yo-Yo-Ma, a interpretaciones de Tango propiamente dichas. De estas últimas, aparte del archiconocido ‘Mi Buenos Aires querido’ de Gardel, y el ‘Libertango’ de Astor Piazzola, destacaría la ‘Milonga triste’ de Roberto Grela que abre el álbum; sin desmerecer por ello los temas instrumentales y orquestales de Anibal Troilo, Juan D’Arienzo, Carlos di Sarli, y Osvaldo Pugliese (mi preferido en este grupo), suficientemente variados en estilo y realización.

Available at this time I leave the links to the original soundtrack of the movie “The Tango Lesson” (Sally Potter, 1997). This music album features works by various authors, from Sally Potter’s own in collaboration with Fred Firth (playing original compositions of a movie soundtrack ‘traditional’ with some New Age touches) and Yo-Yo-Ma, to interpretations of Tango themselves. Of the latter, besides the well-known ‘My dear Buenos Aires’ by Gardel, and ‘Libertango’ by Astor Piazzola, highlight the ‘Milonga triste’ by Roberto Grela that opens the album, without detracting the instrumental and orchestral themes from Anibal Troilo, Juan D’Arienzo, Carlos di Sarli, Osvaldo Pugliese and (my favorite in this group), sufficiently varied in style and performance.
